The NZHA is a proud tenant of Environment Canterbury (ECAN).  The entire McLeans Island recreation area is part of the Christchurch flood protection plain and has been developed for use for all manner of recreational pastimes.

Our security fenced facility is monitored by CCTV and all access is now by electronic tag allowing for the capture of traffic in and out of the property during all times.

There is limited access for disabled users though the club is not a disabled facility.

Ample car parking is available for up to 30-40 vehicles or more.

Our clubrooms are spacious and well appointed with seating and refreshment facilities.  Full toilet facilities are available also.

Future plans for the club include a 200m rifle range and redistribution of the mounds formerly housing pistol shooting in order to create a large shotgun range.
